Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background to deliver wastewater infrastructure projects. If you thrive on responsibility, enjoy problem-solving, and want to make a real impact, this is your chance.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of wastewater projects from inception to completion.
- Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Oversee temporary works design and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations, acting as Principal Contractor or Designer.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance.
- Prepare RAMS, programmes, progress reports, and handover packs.
- Provide technical input on pumps, pipework, valves, and treatment equipment.
- Mentor site teams and promote a culture of safety and quality.
What Were Looking For
- Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Proven project management experience in wastewater or water treatment.
- Strong knowledge of temporary works, CDM regulations, and site management.
- Commercially astute with experience in budgets, contracts, and procurement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
