THE OPPORTUNITY:
My client is looking for a Laboratory Tehnician with good lab based skills including GC / HPLC, a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience of working as a Laboratory Technician in a GLP / GMP environment is highly desirable.

THE ROLE:
In this role you will:

- Conduct laboratory based GC testing and accurately record and analyse results.

- Collect, co-ordinate, record, process and analyse samples.

- Record process data to ensure the accuracy of data collection methods and equipment.

- Monitor and maintain lab equipment and systems.

- Work within defined operating procedures and processes andto required Health and Safety standards.

- Supportthe laboratory team working flexibly as required depending on workload and work closely with the QA team.


TO APPLY:

- Science based degree or appropriate eqivalent qualifications.

- Previous experience of laboratory work and testing including GC / HPLC in a ISO9001 / 17025 environment.

- High attention to detail during routine tasks and able to follow strict process guidelines.

- A robust approach to Health and Safety.

- Good written and verbal communication skills, ability grasp technical concepts.

- A good level of IT literacy and able to use.

- Flexible and able to contribute towards solving problems and suggesting improvements.
