Welder

As a MIG Welder at Proactive Personnel, you will be responsible for assembling, welding, and fabricating metal components using MIG welding techniques. You will work with heavy structural steel primarily so experience with heavy engineering is essential.

Duties:
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut and shape materials as required.
- Conduct quality checks on welded components to meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in MIG welding and working with sheet metal.
- Proficiency in Stick welding techniques is a plus.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting.

07:00- 16:00 Monday - Friday.

16.00 - 19.00 per hour depending on experience / skill set.

These are temporary to permanent positions.
