Your new companyPQ Accountant role with one of the leading independent suppliers to the construction industry in the UK & Ireland. Permanent role based in Co. Down. Our client is in an exciting period of growth and this role will play a significant part in the future of the business.Your new role
- Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts and related reports
- Administration of general ledger including reconciliation of ledger accounts
- Administration and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Administration and reconciliation of supplier and customer rebates
- Assistance with maintenance of fixed asset register
- Assistance with preparation of VAT returns and related reporting
- Support the Company's annual financial budget process
- The reconciliation and analysis of other major balance sheet accounts
- Assistance with other financial duties as required
What you'll need to succeedThis would ideally suit a part Qualified Accountant with previous experience in a similar post. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels and a proven record of ability to work to tight deadlines in a team-based environment.What you'll get in returnYou will be joining a well-established team and report directly to the Company Accountant.
