Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist - Paediatric Neuro
Location: London
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently hiring for anAdvanced Paediatric Physiotherapistrole,partnering with the largest private healthcare provider in the world, and one of the leading private healthcare providers in the UK.

What youll bring:

  • To be responsible for Neurorehabilitation caseload including: admission assessments, goal-setting and treatment planning, Equipment provision, orthotics and discharge planning. Providing high quality Physiotherapy care to Neuro patients across The Portland Hospital.
  • To be able to provide clinical support across other areas of the hospital, including PICU, orthopaedic surgery, cardio-thoracic surgery.
  • Use expert clinical reasoning to provide specialist intervention, support and advice to patients, ensuring best practice is applied at all times.
  • To maintain accurate, up-to-date and concise treatment records detailing the individual patients treatment plan and progress.
  • To ensure that physiotherapy sessions are commenced on time and patients are charged appropriately for their treatment.
  • To work flexibly to the needs of the service and to participate in the out of hours weekend and standby service as required.

Skills and experience

  • Be registered with the HCPC
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Highly specialist experience in Paediatric Neurology and rehabilitation.
  • Experience working within in-patient and out-patient settings within an acute hospital
  • Experience working across other disciplines within physiotherapy e.g rotations
