Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to carry out UK-wide commissioning of high-voltage electrical plant. The role involves testing, commissioning, and energisation of transformers, switchgear, and associated substation equipment on transmission and distribution networks from 33kV upwards.
Key Responsibilities:

Commissioning of power transformers, HV switchgear, protection, and control systems

Pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and fault finding

Carry out energisation and site acceptance testing

Review and execute commissioning procedures and test plans

Produce accurate commissioning records and reports

Ensure all works comply with safety rules, standards, and client requirements
Requirements:

Proven experience commissioning HV equipment (33kV+)

Strong knowledge of transformers, switchgear, and substation systems
-
Willingness to travel and work UK-wide
-
Relevant electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience
