Construction Manager needed for a Major Offshore Wind developer in Indonesia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site fabrication and construction activities for HVDC platforms.
- Supervise contractor performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality requirements.
- Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings with fabrication yards, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Oversee progress reporting, construction planning, and milestone tracking against project schedules.
- Support interface management between design, procurement, fabrication, and installation teams.
- Ensure all work is executed in line with HSE standards and the clients construction procedures.
- Identify and mitigate construction risks, delays, and non-conformities.
- Support inspection, testing, and mechanical completion activities.
- Prepare and review method statements, work packs, and QA documentation.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to the Project Manager / Package Manager.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar leadership role on large offshore fabrication or energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in topside, jacket, or HVDC/OSS platform fabrication.
- Experience working with major EPC contractors or fabrication yards (preferably in Southeast Asia).
- Good understanding of offshore wind or high-voltage electrical systems advantageous.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage multicultural teams.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery.
- Willingness to be based full-time in Batam for the duration of the project.
