Founding Sales Engineer
Location: Remote (ideally Germany)
Salary: €60,000 – €80,000 + generous commission

We’ve teamed up with the founders of a fast-growing security startup that’s reinventing Identity & Access Management for the IoT world.

These guys are absolute experts in their field – a small but mighty team of passionate engineers who spotted a gap in the market , and have already landed some big-name clients.

Now they’re looking for their very first Sales Engineer: a true hunter who’s ready to take their product to market, win new logos, and shape the future of the business alongside the founders.

This isn’t just another sales job. It’s a rare chance to get in early, work hand-in-hand with the leadership team, and play a key role in building something big.

What you’ll do

  • Be the bridge between sales and engineering, translating technical brilliance into business value
  • Build your own target list across industries like automotive, manufacturing, logistics, and engineering
  • Own the pitch: deliver demos, presentations, and technical deep-dives with clients
  • Help shape the product by feeding back real customer insights
  • Hunt down new opportunities in IoT and Industry 4.0 and close them
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

What you’ll bring

  • Background in technical sales, pre-sales, or sales engineering
  • Solid knowledge of PKI (bonus points for experience with digital identity or SSI)
  • Understanding of IoT and Industry 4.0
  • Fluent in German and English, able to explain complex tech in a simple way
  • Self-driven, creative, and motivated by building something from the ground up
  • Based in Germany, with flexibility to travel when needed
