Job Role - Mobile Chef
Location: Hertfordshire & North London
Hours: No Evenings or Weekends (35 Hours PW)
Salary: £14.50PH
Job Overview
Mobile Chef - Hertfordshire Area, No weekends, No evenings - Term time
As Mobile Chef, you will be responsible for cooking and serving high quality, freshly cooked meals from locally sourced ingredients at local sites across Southampton working for a leading contract catering company.
You will be focusing on delivering the highest quality of food and service along with flair, originality, and the ability to make this one of the best school catering offers in the area.
Chef Benefits
* £13/£14 per hour
* Monday - Friday. 8am/9am - 2pm
* 30 hours per week (term time only)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of tasks associated with food production and service in the school
* Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
* Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen
* Work alongside the kitchen team
Ideal Candidate
* A strong understanding of produce and ingredients
* Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
* Knowledge of food production methods
* Embrace new ideas and processes
* Positive and approachable manner

* Experience working in a similar environment
* Ability to follow instructions
* High Standards of hygiene
