Central Employment are working with a global distributor of electronic products, as they look to recruit a results driven B2B Marketing Manager, operating from there HQ in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.
B2B Marketing Manager responsibilities:-
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Marketing Department, providing leadership and support to a small in-house marketing team (Digital Marketing and Creative).
- Develop, refine and execute an annual marketing strategy including overseeing the evolving digital marketing strategy.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee exhibitions and events to maximize engagement and brand visibility.
- Analyse, interpret, and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities to ensure continuous improvement.
- Craft compelling content across various formats, including press releases, news articles, email campaigns, editorial pieces, and brochures.
- Conduct competitor analysis to inform strategies and ensure competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including external press contacts.
- Oversee and drive engagement with the internal marketing platform to ensure effective internal communication.
- Negotiate contracts with stakeholders as needed, such as buying and selling advertisement space..
- Travel within the UK to meet suppliers and customers, as well as attend exhibitions within the UK and Europe, as required.
Skills /competencies / experience required:
- 5+ yrs B2B marketing experience
- 2-3 yrs in a marketing lead role
- Operated within a technical sector/industry
- The abiltity to execute a full marketing strategy and plan
- Creative approach with the ability to work under pressure and to short timescales.
- Strong copy writing experience, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Have a strong understanding of effective marketing communications using current and emerging technologies.
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills.
