Job Title: External Sales Manager
Location: Leeds
Pay rate/Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
We are hiring for an External Sales Manager with solid Electrical Wholesale experience in the Leeds area. This is a field and office-based role within a well-established and reputable electrical wholesaler. You will be responsible for growing sales and building long-term customer relationships within your designated geographical area.
Duties of an External Sales Manager
In this role, you will be working closely with the branch sales team to develop and expand business opportunities across the region. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Growing and increasing sales within your designated area.
- Identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Confidently demonstrating products to clients in person.
- Proactively cold calling and visiting potential customers to secure new business.
Skills and Experience of an External Sales Manager
As an External Sales Manager, you need to have experience with:
- Electrical Wholesale sales and product knowledge.
- Cold calling and new business development.
- Managing customer relationships and spotting new opportunities.
- Independently planning and organising work to tight deadlines.
- Presenting yourself professionally to represent the company effectively.
It would be beneficial to the role if you also had:
- Strong telephone and presentation skills.
- Ambition, resilience, and a positive, driven attitude.
- A valid UK driving licence.
