Civil Supervisors

Location: Between x2 locations - Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny to Farranrory, Co. Tipperary
Base Office: Near Urlingford
Rate: €50 - €55 per hour DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (no weekends)

Role Summary:

Copius Group are seeking experienced Civil Supervisors to oversee and manage our civil subcontractor at the workface. The successful candidates will ensure full compliance with HSSE requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards across all project phases.

Project Overview:

Delivering an underground high-voltage grid connection spanning approximately 34km. The project involves excavating cable trenches, installing ducting, and reinstating roadways to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Monitor and drive subcontractor performance to meet programme and quality objectives.
Maintain strong HSSE compliance and promote a proactive safety culture.
Ensure works are executed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and standards.
Liaise with site management, engineers, and clients to resolve technical or operational issues.
Complete site documentation, reports, and audits as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience supervising underground civil or utility works (preferably HV cable installation or similar).
Strong understanding of HSSE practices and compliance.
Supervisor training such as CIF Managing Safely in Construction (or equivalent).
Certificate in Traffic Management is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and leadership skills,
