Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
Location: North West (Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire)
Salary: 27,000 - 32,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling
- Perform cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections
- Complete TMV servicing and showerhead descaling
- Conduct mains chlorinations/injections
- Support closed system flushing, testing, and balancing (acid descale experience advantageous)
- Undertake cooling tower and steam boiler cleaning/testing (desirable but not essential)
- Perform dead leg removals, pipework modifications (plastic, copper, and steel)
- Carry out tank replacements, expansion vessel works, and other remedial plumbing tasks
- Hold NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum qualification)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Water Hygiene or Plumbing role
- Sound knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
- Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: 27,000 - 32,000 (DOE)
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
