Our client is a leading waste management company operating in Morocco. They are committed to sustainable waste management, with a strong focus on environmental protection.
The Role
The Director of Operations will spearhead the overall development of the business from an operational perspective. With full day to day operational responsibility you will ensure the safe and compliant operation of all the facilities - landfills, MRFs and RDF plants. In addition to the day to day operations, there is a strategic requirement to support the development of the sites, drive incremental improvements of all operations, and ensure the relationships with all clients are constantly improving.
Requirements
With an extensive track record in waste and resource management, you will have managed landfills, recycling and RDF facilities. You must have operated within the Middle East and North Africa, and you will ideally have experience in Morocco.
It's likely you will speak Moroccan and French, though we are happy to engage with candidates who posess the right experience without the language skills.
As a board level director, you will be financially astute, able to support the development of processes and procedures across the group.
