RF Engineer - UK Wide

(Must be able to travel to Head Office in Oxfordshire to collect materials)

Our client seeks an RF Engineer to join their Engineering Team, covering projects across the UK.  You will be working for a systems integrator that offers solutions from conception of an idea right through to delivery, commissioning and maintenance of the system, tailor-making custom-built wireless and Fibre communication solutions to meet specific requirements.

Duties

  • Perform termination and connection of coaxial cables (e.g., ½", 7/8", or similar), connectors, and RF components.
  • Assist with RF line sweep testing, PIM testing, and general system verification.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, cable schedules, and topologies
  • Assist in installation activities to ensure terminations are completed to spec 
  • Provide technical input to team members and support junior staff or labourers as needed 
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, procedures, and site protocols. 
  • Communicate effectively  and professionally with on-site personnel
  • Installing Fibre DAS systems
