We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner. These are temporary to permanent positions, starting immediately for the successful candidates.
Working hours are:
CNC Turner
Night shift Up to £16.00 per hour dependant on experience
Monday Thursday 18:00pm 06:00am
As an Experienced Night Shift CNC Turner your duties will include:
- Continuation of production of parts already setup and ran during the day
- Carrying out setting and tooling adjustments, on Hardinge, Doosan and Lynx Lathe Machines with fanuc controls to ensure production continues without interruption during the night
- Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files
- Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual)
- Maintain clean and tidy stations
- Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
- Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.
- Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
- Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality
- Conversant with Hardinge, Lynx and Doosan Lathes (Preferable)
- Working to tight tolerances
- Experience of working with a wide range of materials including mild steels, brass, bronzes, aluminium, plastics, super duplex etc.
