Job Opportunity: Brick Cutting Supervisor

Hourly Rate: £16.00
Shift: AM Shift 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday (with future flexibility required for a potential two-shift system: 08:30am 5:00pm)
Are you an experienced supervisor with a strong background in labour planning and production? Were looking for a Brick Cutting Supervisor to lead and support a dynamic team in a busy production environment.
?? Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of around 14 operatives, managing performance, absences, and employee relations.
Plan and allocate daily labour to maximise the efficiency of brick cutting machinery.
Oversee production planning, including sequencing of operations to meet output targets.
Identify and implement lean manufacturing improvements to drive efficiency.
Troubleshoot and support the maintenance of machinery a solid understanding of production equipment is essential.
Communicate effectively across teams and shifts to ensure smooth operations.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience supervising production or manufacturing teams.
Skilled in labour and production planning.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and how to apply them practically.
Hands-on knowledge of general production machinery, with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Flexibility to adapt to a dual-shift working model in the near future.
