The Opportunity
An established civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Bridge Inspector or Team Leader to join their growing Transportation Design Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to develop their career within a respected infrastructure and inspection team, working on major projects across Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out bridge inspection projects for state and local agencies (including PennDOT and Turnpike projects).
Use web-based software to manage asset data and produce detailed inspection reports.
Support field operations - including data collection, documentation, and use of inspection equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and project-specific procedures.
Take part in ongoing professional training and development.
Occasional weekend field work may be required.
Leadership or project management responsibilities may be available depending on experience.
About You
Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Prior experience in bridge inspection, highway structures, or related infrastructure projects.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physically able to carry equipment up to 25 lbs.
Willingness to travel within Pennsylvania for site work.
