The Opportunity


An established civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Bridge Inspector or Team Leader to join their growing Transportation Design Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to develop their career within a respected infrastructure and inspection team, working on major projects across Pennsylvania.



Key Responsibilities


  • Carry out bridge inspection projects for state and local agencies (including PennDOT and Turnpike projects).

  • Use web-based software to manage asset data and produce detailed inspection reports.

  • Support field operations - including data collection, documentation, and use of inspection equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and project-specific procedures.

  • Take part in ongoing professional training and development.

  • Occasional weekend field work may be required.

  • Leadership or project management responsibilities may be available depending on experience.


About You


  • Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).

  • Prior experience in bridge inspection, highway structures, or related infrastructure projects.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Physically able to carry equipment up to 25 lbs.

  • Willingness to travel within Pennsylvania for site work.
