We are recruiting for a Contract Specialist to join a globally leading CRO.

This is a contract opportunity offered initially for 3 months, working part-time, 16 hours per week.

This role is remote, but you must be based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft contracts with clients, internal teams, and external partners to support clinical research operations
  • Ensure all contracts are executed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with legal teams to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in all contracts
  • Facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners
  • Develop and implement contract management processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify and resolve any contract-related issues or discrepancies
  • Review and analyze contract terms to identify areas of potential risk or concern
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all contracts and related correspondence
  • Participate in contract negotiations and provide support to other team members as needed
  • Continuously monitor and assess contract performance to ensure all parties are meeting their obligations
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to contract management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contracts align with business goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on contract-related matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or Legal related subject
  • Experience in contract review and negotiation, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts, including confidentiality, intellectual property, and data privacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Familiarity with contract management software and proficiency in microsoft office suite
