New Business Development Consultant

Location: South Africa offshore model

Salary: Competitive based + uncapped commission (PSL wins + % of gross profit) + benefits

Our Client is a specialist recruitment consultancy in IT, Technology, and Security. They are evolving from a consultancy-led model to a more traditional recruitment agency approach, and as part of their growth, they're expanding their business development capability.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business, help shape their client base, and play a pivotal role in driving the Client's contract recruitment success.

The Role

A dedicated Business Development Consultant to focus exclusively on bringing in qualified contract opportunities for their delivery and sourcing team to fulfil. Your role will be about opening doors, building client relationships, and securing long-term opportunities.

You won't need to manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle - your focus will be on business development, client engagement, and winning new contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, target, and engage new client prospects within IT, Technology, and Security.

Build and nurture relationships with hiring managers, decision-makers, and procurement teams.

Win and onboard clients onto PSLs (Preferred Supplier Lists).

Qualify new contract vacancies and pass them to the Hyerhub sourcing and delivery team.

Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and contract growth.

Consistently achieve and exceed agreed revenue and activity targets.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in business development within recruitment, focused on contracts.

Strong track record of winning new clients and securing long-term agreements.

Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

A proactive, resilient, and self-motivated approach to sales.

Proven experience, use and understanding of business GTM tooling, process and functions.

Knowledge of IT, Technology, or Security markets is desirable but not essential.
