Senior Service Controller – Heavy Plant Industry

Are you an experienced Service Controller with a background in heavy plant equipment?
NEOS are working with a market leader in Plant looking for a proactive and highly organised Senior Service Controller to join their team out of the Farnham depot, overseeing service operations and ensuring exceptional customer support across their fleet of heavy plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all service schedules, breakdown responses, and repair work for heavy plant equipment.

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and timely updates on all service matters.

  • Support and manage a team of field service engineers, providing technical guidance and efficient job allocation.

  • Maintain and update service records, job sheets, and reports using internal systems.

  • Liaise with parts, warranty, and technical departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Drive service efficiency, monitor KPIs, and implement improvements where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Service Controller or similar role within the heavy plant, construction, or agricultural equipment sector.

  • Excellent understanding of plant machinery including excavators, loaders, dumpers, and telehandlers.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Ability to interpret technical reports and engineer feedback.

  • Proficient in service management systems and Microsoft Office.
