ITSM SUPPORT ENGINEER - CLOUD COSTINGS - AWS - AZURE - KPI'S - REPORTING - SERVICE NOW - SC/NATO CLEARANCE - REMOTE - OUTSIDE IR35 - MARKET RATES

Rate: Market rates (Outside IR35)
Security Clearance: NATO/SC Clearance Required

Duration: 6+ months

ROLE OVERVIEW

My client is urgently seeking a Security Cleared ITSM Support Engineer to support their IT modernization efforts by enabling cloud service management across public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365). This includes improving service delivery, cost control, and operational efficiency through structured processes, dashboards, and collaboration within the Cloud Operations Center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ITSM Support

  • Assist with incident, problem, and change management
  • Document and improve ITSM processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams on service delivery

Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Create dashboards to monitor operations and cloud finances
  • Report on KPIs, system performance, and incident trends
  • Offer actionable insights for service improvement

Cloud Financial Operations

  • Monitor and analyse cloud expenses (AWS, Azure)
  • Optimize cloud resource costs
  • Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting

Financial Management

  • Support planning, forecasting, invoice reconciliation
  • Manage vendor contracts
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies

Change Management

  • Track and support IT service changes
  • Report change statuses and generate schedules
  • Ensure change management procedures are followed

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience in ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Proficient in reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Knowledge of AWS/Azure cost management tools
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies
  • Full professional English proficiency (French is a plus)
