Senior Electrical Engineer – Düsseldorf, Germany (Permanent)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of electrical systems within assigned project packages
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Review IFC drawings and specifications; manage RFIs and technical queries
- Oversee BIM coordination to produce compliant installation drawings
- Manage engineering activities to align with project programme and procurement
- Support site safety, QA, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Manage subcontractors, materials, and engineering work packs
- Track progress, costs, risks, and report weekly to project stakeholders
- Manage technical submittals and approvals
- Mentor and support junior engineers
Essential Criteria
- 5+ years’ experience with an electrical or M&E contractor
- Data Centre or Pharmaceutical experience required
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience with CAD/BIM and project planning software (e.g. Primavera)
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Strong IT and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel and work across Europe
