Solar PV Installer – Permanent, Nationwide
The Role
-
Install commercial and industrial rooftop solar PV systems
-
Work from drawings and plans, install panels, mounting systems, DC cabling, and inverters
-
Complete quality checks and ensure compliance
-
Support and mentor junior installers where needed
-
Escalate technical or safety issues promptly
You’ll Need
-
1–2 years’ solar PV or relevant installation experience
-
Confident working independently and at height
-
Knowledge of flat, pitched, and trapezoidal steel roofs
-
MC4 crimping, DC terminations, fault finding, and testing skills
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
-
Flexible for nationwide travel and overnight stays
Mandatory Training & Certification
-
CSCS, Working at Height, Harness, IPAF, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid as required

Completion of Elevate Tier 1 modules
