Job Title: Senior Air Quality Consultant
Location: UK-Wide
Salary: 35,000-45,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

A respected environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Air Quality Consultant to support and strengthen its growing national air quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant ready to take on more responsibility, contribute technical expertise, and play a key role in delivering high-quality air quality assessments for clients across the UK.

You will work on a diverse range of air quality and dispersion modelling projects, supporting clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams while helping to maintain the consultancy's strong reputation for technical excellence.

As a senior member of the team, you'll manage and deliver air quality projects of varying scale and complexity, ensuring accurate and robust technical outputs. You'll help develop client relationships, support proposal preparation, and provide guidance to junior colleagues as part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.

• Deliver air quality and dispersion modelling assessments

• Provide technical input to EIAs and broader environmental studies

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Assist in preparing proposals, tenders, and project documentation

• Support and mentor junior team members

• Liaise with regulators, planning authorities, and multidisciplinary teams

• 4-6 years' experience in air quality consultancy

• Strong technical understanding of ADMS, AERMOD and IAQM/EPUK guidance

• Experience communicating with clients and supporting project delivery

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Chemistry, or related field

• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and commercial awareness

• Fully remote role - work from anywhere in the UK
