Junior Sous Chef Ideal Profile:
- Confident in running sections and supporting senior chefs during service
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude with a calm approach under pressure
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Previous experience in a fresh food kitchen with a focus on consistency
- Eager to develop their skills and support junior team members
- Reliable, flexible, and passionate about great food
Junior Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day-to-day operations
- Leading sections during busy service and maintaining high food quality
- Supporting with stock control and deliveries
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
- Contributing ideas for menus and seasonal specials
