Finance Manager - Based in Orkney

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established company!

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Flexi Hours, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive Salary of £36,000 - £41,000 PA Depending on Experience.

Location: Orkney KW17.

About The Role:

This role will be varied covering all accounting processes and you need to be very organised, analytical, and able to problem solve and work independently using your own initiative.

With excellent Excel and IT skills, you will be a key player in ensuring that the business flows smoothly, ensuring that optimum levels of customer service are maintained.

Candidate Requirements:

A good working knowledge of Sage is essential, although if you have used other accounting software, training can be given to update your skills accordingly.

You will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management, while also advising senior management on strategic financial decisions. Key responsibilities involve analysing financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, ensuring regulatory compliance and liaising with auditors and banks.
