Finance Manager
Salary: £60,000 + Bonus / Benefits
Location: West Sussex (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including AP invoicing, payroll, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.

  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and compliance with GAAP and IFRS.

  • Manage financial reporting, including monthly and annual reports, financial forecasting, and strategy suggestions.

  • Lead financial analysis, including forecasting and variance analysis, to support management decisions.

  • Lead preparation of statutory accounts and manage the audit process, ensuring timely submission and compliance.

  • Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and credit control.

  • Implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and compliant financial systems, and act as an advisor to senior management on financial strategy.

  • Review procurement processes, enhance internal controls, and develop financial models for pricing.

Essential Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Proficiency in IFRS, GAAP, and financial systems.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).

Preferred:

  • External audit experience and a strong understanding of financial statement risks.

  • Ability to advise on financial uncertainties and market changes.
