Contract Programme Manager - Major Financial Institution?? Belfast (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) | ?? £500-£600/day (Umbrella) | ?? 6 months (Highly likely to extend)

We're working with a leading financial services firm on a high-priority hire for a seasoned Programme Manager to join their Markets Operations transformation programme. This global, multi-year initiative is reshaping operational risk, controls, compliance, data, automation, and client service functions.

The RoleAs Programme Manager, you will drive delivery across multiple transformation workstreams, partnering closely with operations and technology teams. Your role is critical in ensuring strategic alignment, execution discipline, and risk/control adherence across the lifecycle of change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery of assigned programmes/projects

• Define scope, manage plans, track KPIs and benefits realisation

• Engage senior stakeholders across operations, tech, and risk

• Facilitate governance, working groups, and senior forums

• Support UAT and operational readiness

• Embed change control, PM standards, and process improvements

What You'll Bring

• Strong programme delivery experience in financial services

• Background in large-scale ops, risk, or tech change

• Recognised PM methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile)

• Strong stakeholder, data analysis, and documentation skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Experience with Markets products and operational flows is a bonus
