Field Service Engineer/ International Field Service Engineer.

Ireland

£50,000 Negotiable upwards, dependent on experience + O/T paid for Weekend work. 2X Saturdays, and 3x Sundays, but weekend work is rare + 25 Days holiday plus bank holidays + fully expensed car+ private medical + mobile + Company credit card. Annual bonus subject to company performance around 10% of salary.

My client is a global leading partner in the sheet metal industry on the search for a highly experienced machine tool service engineer in Ireland. They have a fantastic reputation within the industry for providing a high level of customer satisfaction due to the service of their knowledgeable and approachable engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented service engineer to be welcomed into an ambitious group with exceptional staff retention and a reputation for excellence. There are many opportunities to travel internationally within this role to assist with servicing worldwide for group customers.

The Role:

  • You will fault find, repair and install and commission the new machines.
  • You will train customers on their impressive portfolio of machines and provide a high level of after sales support.
  • You will ensure that their customer's uptime and productivity is maximised to uphold the reputation of the brand.
  • You will build relationships with the customers and uphold the high standards of service that the client is renowned for.
  • You will become an expert on their product portfolio and liaise with the factory on technical matters including product improvement and development.
  • If you decide to perform the international service role you will travel to different countries performing the above duties.

Requirements:

  • You will have experience with Controls, preferably Siemens.
  • You will be highly knowledgeable in CNC machinery preferably in metal-forming or machine tools.
  • You will have a minimum of a HND level or time served apprenticeship, but ideally you will be degree educated.
  • Ideally you will have experience in the application side of laser cutting metal.
  • You must have exceptional communication skills.
