Electrical Engineer for LV & MV systems for a TP outfitting in a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Design and specification of LV/MV electrical systems for TP outfitting, including lighting, earthing, cable routing, and auxiliary systems.
- Interface with structural, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and supplier deliverables.
- Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.
- Oversee installation and commissioning activities onshore and offshore.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, DIN, VDE) and offshore wind industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure electrical safety throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and certification bodies to ensure timely delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in LV/MV electrical engineering in offshore wind.
- Strong understanding of TP outfitting requirements and offshore foundation design.
- Familiarity with German regulations and offshore wind standards.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Willingness to travel offshore and internationally as required
