Telesales Appointment Setter - IT & Telecom Services
Location: Broxbourne, Hertfordshire (Office-Based)
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + Commission


Our client is a market leader in providing managed service provider, IT solutions, and telecommunications to businesses across various sectors. With a strong commitment to helping companies streamline their operations, they are expanding their sales team and are now looking for a talented Telesales Appointment Setter to help drive growth and build strong relationships with potential clients.

Role Overview:
As a Telesales Appointment Setter, your main responsibility will be to generate new business by making outbound cold calls to potential clients, setting appointments for the sales team to close deals. You'll be expected to make 80-100 calls per day, identifying opportunities for IT, and telephone services. The goal is to secure 5-6 quality meetings per week, building a strong pipeline for the sales team to convert into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make 80-100 cold calls per day to prospective clients, introducing them to the company's services.
  • Qualify leads and set 5-6 meetings each week for the sales team.
  • Build rapport and effectively communicate the benefits of managed print, IT, and telecom solutions.
  • Accurately record all activities and update CRM system regularly.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Meet and exceed weekly appointment-setting targets.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in telesales, cold calling, or lead generation (ideally in managed services, IT, or telecoms).
  • Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised, with great attention to detail and time management skills.
