Basic Salary: Up to £70,000

About the Role:As General Manager, you will be responsible for the full operational and commercial leadership of the hotel. With a strong focus on driving the weddings, meetings, and events business, you will ensure the hotel continues to be a go-to venue for both leisure and corporate guests. You'll lead and inspire a passionate team, maintain exceptional guest satisfaction, and deliver consistent revenue and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all hotel operations including rooms, spa, leisure, F&B, and events
- Maximise revenue opportunities across weddings, meetings, and private functions
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team culture
- Deliver on brand standards (branded experience preferred but not essential)
- Build strong community, supplier, and corporate partnerships
- Ensure excellence in guest service and operational efficiency
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies for growth
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a busy wedding and events-focused property
- Background in a branded hotel is an advantage, but not essential
- Commercially astute with strong financial acumen and revenue focus
- Skilled in building strong team culture and operational excellence
- Confident in leading sales strategies for weddings, corporate meetings, and social events
- Passionate about hospitality, service, and exceeding expectations
