Teaching Assistant - PRU:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit in the Longsight area. This school supports pupils aged 4-11 with SEMH. Team Teach training is essential for this position.

The Role:

Supporting pupils 1:1 with challenging behaviour needs
Communicating with pupils, staff and external agencies to monitor progress

Position Details:

Minimum Rate of Pay: 95 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Team Teach training is essential for this role
Previous experience working within a PRU or similar setting

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
