Senior Business Analyst - Capital Markets

Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a leading global financial services company. This role is perfect for someone who understands capital markets, especially derivatives, structured products, and trading platforms.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with traders, developers, and clients to improve pricing and trading systems
  • Help manage and enhance RFQ (Request for Quote) workflows
  • Support system integration with platforms like CitiVelocity and FIX protocol
  • Write clear business requirements and support testing
  • Suggest ways to automate processes and make systems more efficient
  • Provide training and help users get the most out of the systems

What We're Looking For:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets or trading tech
  • Knowledge of OTC options, RFQ workflows, and pricing systems
  • Hands-on experience with FIX protocol and structured product booking tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of automation and Straight-Through Processing (STP) is a bonus

Your Background:

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • Business Analysis certifications are a plus
