We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer who has worked in Air Traffic Management (ATM), to join our team in supporting the delivery, integration, and optimisation of Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, and Air Traffic Management systems, based in Greece. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, secure, and efficient airspace operations by working closely with industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and defence organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on CNS/ATM systems, including communications (voice/data), navigation aids, radar, and surveillance technologies.
- Support the specification, design, integration, and validation of CNS/ATM solutions in both civil and military aviation environments.
- Deliver technical input into safety cases, operational concepts, and system performance assessments.
- Contribute to the development of airspace strategies, system roadmaps, and compliance with ICAO, EUROCONTROL, EASA, and CAA regulations.
- Lead or support technical reviews, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery activities across the full lifecycle.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to assess interoperability, cybersecurity, and resilience of CNS/ATM systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in CNS/ATM, Air Traffic Management, or related aerospace/defence systems.
- Strong understanding of ICAO Annexes, EUROCONTROL specifications, and relevant CAA/EASA regulations.
- Familiarity with communication systems (VHF, UHF, SATCOM, CPDLC), navigation aids (GNSS, ILS, VOR/DME), and surveillance systems (Primary/Secondary Radar, ADS-B, MLAT).
- Experience in system design, integration, verification/validation, or operational assessment of CNS/ATM solutions.
- Knowledge of airspace management, safety assurance, and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical writing skills.
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- (Desirable) Experience within MOD/Defence programmes, civil aviation authorities, or major ANSPs.
- (Desirable) Chartered Engineer or working towards professional registration.
