Solutions Architect (.NET & Azure)

Location: Edinburgh or Manchester
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + Benefits + Bonus

We are working with a global technology consulting firm that is embarking on a large-scale digital application transformation project for a major financial services client. As part of this initiative, they are expanding their architectural leadership team and seeking multiple Solutions Architects to support full-stack architecture across a diverse programme portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation within a high-impact, high-visibility project. You'll be responsible for shaping scalable, secure, and future-proof enterprise solutions using Microsoft's modern technology stack.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions across the Microsoft technology stack.
Translate business requirements into robust architecture designs aligned with enterprise standards.
Provide architectural oversight across development teams working on .NET and Azure platforms.
Support the Full Stack Architect in defining strategy, governance, and best practices across project streams.
Ensure scalability, performance, and integration across digital platforms and cloud environments.
Drive continuous improvement by applying modern architecture principles, DevOps practices, and agile delivery methods.

What We're Looking For:

Strong experience in a Solutions Architect or senior technical leadership role.
Expertise in Microsoft .NET, C#, and the broader Microsoft technology ecosystem.
Proven track record in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, particularly on Microsoft Azure.
Experience in defining and implementing enterprise-wide technical architectures.
Strong understanding of Software Architecture Patterns and modern design principles.
Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end enterprise applications.
Sector experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance is highly desirable.
