The Role
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Planning Practitioner to join their Planning team. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects, from inception to completion, and contribute their expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planning project inputs from inception to completion, liaising with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Undertake research, site visits, and prepare planning assessments and reports.

  • Engage with relevant authorities and stakeholders.

  • Work on small to medium-scale planning projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

  • Provide technical knowledge on the Irish planning system, including relevant national and EU legislation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Town Planning (IPI or RTPI accredited).

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience, ideally in a planning consultancy or similar environment.

  • Proven track record in commercial development, residential, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Strong report writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
