We are recruiting for an experienced Freelance Logistics Manager to support a major Town Centre Redevelopment project in the North West.
This role is ideal for someone who has previously managed logistics on large, complex construction projects and can take ownership of site traffic management, deliveries, and stakeholder liaison in a busy live environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the project's logistics strategy.
Oversee traffic management, deliveries, and waste removal.
Manage site access, hoarding, security, and pedestrian movement.
Coordinate lifting operations, deliveries, and compound/welfare areas.
Liaise with local authorities, residents, and businesses to minimise disruption.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental standards.
Support the project team with forward planning and problem-solving.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on major construction projects (ideally town centre / regeneration schemes).
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders and subcontractors.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid desirable.
