Job Title: SLG – Traffic Management Supervisor

Location: Galway, Ireland
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic management systems, including signs, cones, barriers, and lights.
Ensuring road users, pedestrians, and site staff remain safe at all times.
Following strict health & safety guidelines and adhering to all site rules and regulations.
Carrying out site risk assessments and ensuring compliance with local traffic management regulations.
Operating in all weather conditions and potentially working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends when required.
Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and the public.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Relevant Traffic Management Qualifications – e.g., SLG (Signing, Lighting, and Guarding) or equivalent certifications recognised in Ireland.
Previous experience in traffic management, construction, or a similar environment.
A strong understanding of health and safety practices.
A full, clean driving licence.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
