Maintenance Technician – Dublin

Shift pattern: Rotational – days and nights
Salary: €54,626 plus shift allowance and benefits 

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced, Maintenance Technician/ Engineer as part of their team growth.

About the Role

As part of the operations maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring that all plant and machinery are serviced, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards.

You will work to minimise downtime across complex sortation equipment while maintaining efficiency and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and carrying out maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and within operational timeframes.

  • Monitoring equipment performance and addressing faults promptly through effective troubleshooting or escalation.

  • Liaising with operations teams and management to maintain workflow and resolve issues quickly.

  • Ensuring all maintenance procedures and reporting requirements are completed accurately.

  • Upholding health and safety standards and ensuring compliance at all times.

  • Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure safe, reliable use.

About You

The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, organised, and comfortable working in a dynamic, high-volume environment. You will bring a proven track record in mechanical and electrical maintenance, along with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • City & Guilds qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Sound knowledge of 17th/18th Edition electrical regulations.

  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and maintenance background.

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings.

  • Understanding of PLC-controlled systems.

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to shift work.

  • Solid understanding of health and safety practices.

  • Full, clean driving licence.
