We’re actively recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support our clients continued growth and technical excellence based in Burntwood on a permanent basis.

The role will play an integral role within the maintenance department, having responsibility of ensuring optimised machinery output and product quality.

Previous experience working with industrial/engineering machinery is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and preventative maintenance as required
Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting
Improve existing machinery and processes to enhance efficiency and safety
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing
Maintain all maintenance records accurately
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function

Experience & Skills Required:

Apprenticeship served in an engineering discipline
Formal engineering qualification, ONC etc
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Working hours - 37 per week (DAY SHIFT ONLY):

Monday to Thursday 08:45 - 17:00
Friday 08:30 - 16:30
