Description

The key responsibilities of the Site Accountant include:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
Provide financial insights to aid decision-making across the site.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across logistics, production and operations on financial performance
Assist in preparing year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors.
Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost optimisation.
Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Profile

A successful Site Accountant should have:

Actively working towards CIMA/ACCA
Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders about financial data
