Our client based in Boroughbridge is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team.
This role is ideal for individuals in the early stages of their finance career who have some month-end experience and want to enhance their skills.
The position involves assisting with month-end processes, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the production of management accounts.
The salary for this role is up to £35,000, and the candidate should have some relevant experience in month-end activities.
The successful applicant will benefit from a friendly team environment and mentorship from an experienced Management Accountant.

Our client based in Boroughbridge is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their finance career whos looking to build on their foundational knowledge and gain valuable month-end experience in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Youll be working closely with an experienced and approachable Management Accountant who can provide training on production of management accounts, provided you have some month end expeirence already.

What youll be doing

Assisting with month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
Supporting the production and review of management accounts
Producing regular and ad-hoc reports for internal use
Assisting the purchase and sales ledger teams when required
Contributing to cashflow reporting and forecasting
