Our client, a leading Dublin-based company, is seeking an experienced and astute Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their senior leadership team. With a strong construction & mechanical engineering background, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, ensuring robust contract management, and supporting the financial health of the business.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Strong PPP background
Review client contracts, negotiating terms and conditions to safeguard business interests.
Lead on the negotiation, agreement, and placement of sub-contract agreements.
Support all aspects of commercial reporting, including reviewing cost estimates, cost reports, and WIP reports.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Manage change control processes effectively, identifying risks and opportunities.
Negotiate and settle contentious final accounts with professionalism and efficiency.
Drive cashflow optimization across the region to support business growth.
Provide leadership and guidance to commercial teams, ensuring effective training, mentoring, and resource management.
Uphold the highest standards of health & safety across all projects.

About You

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Public-Private Partnership experience (Preferred)
Strong background in the construction or Mechanical industry.
Proven track record in commercial management, contract negotiation, and change management.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and manage resources effectively.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel between company offices as required.
