Technical Asset Manager – EMEA Portfolio
Location: UK (remote)

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Asset Manager to be responsible for strategic oversight, lifecycle management and operational performance of physical assets across a major EMEA-wide facilities portfolio. This newly created role has been introduced to strengthen technical capability, improve data-driven decision-making, and drive asset performance across 49 countries.

You’ll be the go-to specialist for asset lifecycle planning, ensuring technical data integrity, optimising performance, and supporting compliance with statutory and client-specific maintenance requirements. Reporting to the EMEA Technical Services Lead, you’ll collaborate closely with Site Facilities Managers to shape a clear, efficient, and standardised approach to asset management.

This is a newly created position to join a high-performing technical services team working in partnership with one of the world’s most recognised pharmaceutical brands. You willbring structure to a vast, multi-country dataset, establishing standardised asset management practices across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive asset register in line with IFM data standards and client requirements
  • Lead asset lifecycle planning including condition assessments, criticality and energy analysis, and replacement forecasting
  • Oversee asset data collection tools, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and standardisation
  • Integrate asset data into maintenance planning, capital budgeting, and performance reporting
  • Provide guidance and training to site teams on asset tagging, CMMS usage, and data quality
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with relevant internal and external standards

About You

  • A strong building services engineering background
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in asset management, technical services, or facilities operations within a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of technical services (HVAC, BMS, electrical, life safety, building fabric, lighting systems)
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements, CMMS/CAFM systems, and asset data standards (SFG20, ISO 55000)
  • Power BI/data visualisation experience advantageous
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple countries and influence diverse stakeholders
  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
