Our Client is a leading specialist in the design, installation, maintenance, and servicing of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Operating across the UK, our business is structured into two key divisions: Service and Projects. Our Service division offers a 24-hour call-out service alongside routine planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on both a mobile and site-based basis.

Role Overview

Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join our growing service team. This is a mobile role covering the Northwest region, requiring travel to client sites to conduct maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and servicing of air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of large VRF/VRV air conditioning systems from major manufacturers, including Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Daikin, and Samsung.
Diagnose and rectify faults in air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
Carry out repairs, overhauls, and major component replacements as required.
Utilise manufacturer-specific service monitoring systems for fault diagnosis and performance assessment.
Provide a high standard of customer service and maintain professional client relationships.
Work within health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Participate in the 24-hour call-out rota as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in servicing VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across various manufacturers.
Experience with refrigeration, heat pumps, and ventilation systems is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with manufacturer service monitoring systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced service environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence (essential for the mobile nature of the role).
