Are you an experienced BMS Service Engineer looking for a role that combines technical depth, autonomy, and meaningful work in sustainability?

This opportunity sits within a fast-growing building performance and energy optimisation specialist delivering smart, data-led solutions across commercial and public-sector estates.

With a close-knit engineering team, a strong service-led culture, and projects focused on reducing carbon, improving efficiency, and extending asset life, the business is recognised for its practical, results-driven approach to net zero delivery.

Covering key locations along the M4 corridor (including Hereford, Swindon, Reading and surrounding areas), this role offers variety, stability, and the chance to work with modern control technologies and long-term client accounts.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering planned PPM visits and reactive callouts on BMS systems.

  • Fault finding, diagnostics, and optimisation of BMS hardware and software.

  • Carrying out small works, upgrades, and minor commissioning activities.

  • Producing clear service reports with improvement recommendations.

  • Building strong client relationships through reliable, high-quality service.

  • Ensuring compliance with H&S, environmental, and quality standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in BMS service engineering (PPM, reactive, small works).

  • Strong understanding of BMS platforms and HVAC systems.

  • Confident fault-finding and problem-solving ability.

  • Comfortable working independently across multiple sites.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary, supportive management, ongoing training, and the chance to be part of a business genuinely focused on smarter, lower-carbon buildings.
