Rate: £160 - £180 per day

Our client is delivering a major fibre installation project as part of the development of a large-scale battery farm in Coalburn. We are seeking Cabling Engineers with ECS or CSCS certification. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a nationally significant infrastructure project, with a strong chance of contract extension.

The Role
You'll be supporting the external fibre installation on-site at the new battery farm, working alongside a team to ensure the structured cabling infrastructure is delivered to high standards.

Responsibilities Include:

Installing, terminating, and testing external fibre optic cabling systems
Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and industry standards
Following project plans and working with site teams to meet deadlines
Operating in compliance with all site-specific H&S regulations

Program Details:

Monday to Friday schedule (standard daytime hours)
Approximately 12-15 weeks in duration
Strong potential for further extension based on project phases

Requirements:

Valid ECS or CSCS card
Experience with external fibre cabling installation
Ability to work independently and follow on-site procedures
Strong awareness of site safety protocols

Desired:

First Aid and Manual Handling certifications
