Behaviour Mentor - Tameside:

Are you an experienced behaviour mentor looking for a new role? Prospero Teaching are currently seeking strong and resilient behaviour mentors to join a large SEMH provision in the Tameside area.

The school supports pupils aged 11-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. You be will required to support pupils on a 1-1 basis and offer both academic and emotional mentoring. The role is full-time and will be long-term.

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 95 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting SEMH, within community or school based roles
  • A full UK driving license is highly desired
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
